  1. Selling my 18 month old VorTech MP 10 pump. Works great! The dry side motor (with bearings) was replaced about 8 months ago with a new assembly and the plastic case shows a couple of marks from where I popped it open to plug in the new motor. and the wet side propeller has a couple of nicks and dings from use but everything is in excellent condition otherwise. I have a new spacer for it as well if your aquarium walls are thinner than 3/8"

    Asking $110.

    Thanks for looking!

  2. Selling my Precision Marine 620 Kalk Reactor. It has a brand new maxi-jet 400 pump and is in perfect working order. This reactor is an excellent solution for automated dosing. Just hook it up to your top off water supply, add a couple of cups of kalk every month or two, set it on a timer to run for a couple of minutes twice a day, and you're done! Unless you have a very heavy SPS tank the super saturated kalk water is all the supplement you need. I ran this as my only supplement on a 215 for years and that was 50/50 SPS and LPS/softies with no additional dosing needed.

I am also including a brand new-in-the-bag replacement impeller. The impellers do wear out every 9 - 12 months (depending on use) when running kalk as it is very abrasive. The wonderful thing about the PM reactor design is that the only thing that wears out is the impeller and it takes all of 30 seconds to replace!

These cost $270 new on Marine Depot and a new impeller sells for $9. Yours for $150.

    Thanks for looking!

  3. Selling my top of the line Sunlight Supply Lumenarc 3 DE metal halide reflector and electronic ballast set. This is one of the best reflectors made and can easily cover a 24 x 24 x 24 area with light suitable for SPS. Metal halide may not be as flashy as the new LEDs but it is a proven and VERY effective technology. I paid $280 for this about 18 months ago - yours for $100. You can have the 14K Phoenix bulb that's in there too but it's due for a 9 month change.

This would be shippable as well if someone is interested in that.

    Thanks for looking!

  4. Selling my reef ready 20" cube aquarium with stand - $90. Approximately 30 gallons total volume. The setup is a about a year and a half old. It has a very nice rock wall built into the back that comes with it. The acrylic is 3/8 inch cell cast and eurobraced. 3/8s is over built but still very light, my wife can pick it up easily. There is virtually no chance that a well made acrylic tank like this will ever leak on you - the bond at the seams is as strong as the acrylic walls. The acrylic is in good condition and crystal clear (not green tinted like regular glass) There are a couple of light scratches in it from cleaning. They are visible when it is filled if you get close enough and are looking for them. I didn't find them objectionable but they should be relatively easy to buff out if you're inclined to do so. They are too faint to get a photo of.

The stand include 4 x 80mm fans that I installed for cooling but not a molex / ac power converter. Those are $9 new at Fry's. I'm willing to buy a new one but I'll add $10 to the list price.

I live about 1/2 mile from RCA in Jollyville if you'd like to come by and take a look sometime.

  5. Exterior latex would be my choice but it is a bit harder to clean up and work with. High gloss acrylic would be my second. Go down to Lowes or Home Depot and you'll find a shelf in the paint department where they sell paint that they mixed and couldn't sell (color was wrong, person didn't pick it up, etc.) You can get that stuff for a song if you're not too picky about the color. Another solid option is Krylon gloss spray paint - cheap and easy to work with.

  6. Selling my Sunlight Supply Reef Optix 3 Plus Reflector with matching 250w Sunlight Galaxy Electronic ballast. Both are about a year and half old and run great. This is a top of the line set; excellent reflectivity and nice build quality. I am also including a Phoenix 14K bulb in the sale, but it is over 9 months old and needs to be replaced.

Made out of thick, completely non-reactive HDPE, these containers are built for industrial applications and are a large reef tank keepers best friend when you're doing a water change. The dolly set makes moving a full 44 gallon container of salt water a piece of cake. Never used for anything except saltwater and RO water. It costs over $170 new! Yours for $80.
