I have a Deltec AP-851 Protein Skimmer that I would like to sell. I've had it for the past 18 months. I've been running an Algae Turf Scrubber for the past 15 months and I no longer need the Protein Skimmer. I turn the Protein Skimmer on about once a month for a day just to keep the parts moving but, for the past 15 months it's essentially been in line and not used.
Don't want to post links on here but if you research this, it's sells for ~$1235.99
I'll sell it for $599 plus shipping.
Best Regards,
Dave

I am selling my MH setup (minus reflectors). I have 2- Blue Wave 1 400W Metal Halide Ballast by Sunlight Supply (Retail: ~$150.00/ea), and 1- 400w Icecap Electronic Metal Halide Ballast (Retail: ~$180.00). Total Retail price: ~$480.00 They are currently hard wired to the sockets on my tank since my sump is in the garage and the tank is in the house.
I will sell these for $300 and I will include the sockets for the mogel type bulbs as well as 3 MH bulbs (~8 months old). Two are 14k/400w and one is 20k/400w.
$300 takes it all.
Regards,
Dave

I'm looking for any Acro (long shot, I know) or an anemone for my clownfish, even some LR. Mine was sucked into the Tunze Stream trying to relocate in the middle of the night (told him not to travel without lights!)
I have lots of Digi (Pink/Brown) frags and lots of GSP some attached to LR.

TTT.....
Anyone? $495 (New: $1235)
-
TTT: Now $495!
~$1000+ NEW!
It's currently inline so that you can see it operate but, has not been used (except to cycle to ensure operation) for the past 18 months.

I have a Deltec AP851 on my 225 gallon aquarium that has not been used in the past year. I had it running for the first 6 months of operation but, then built a ATS. I have run the system a number of times just to insure that it's operational but, I really have no use for it.
Cost of a new unit ~$1000(depending on where you go.
My price: $700.

Sorry for the late reply
We are no longer having a meeting at my place. I have catering to do and it's taking precedence over fun. Unfortunately, paying the bills to keep our home/business is becoming a huge (read: desperate) priority.
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

I have a lot of GSP that I'd like to thin out. Anyone wanting any it's free. If there is something that stirs your heart to trade, cool but, not necessary.

I have Two 1-Gallon containers of High Purity Magnesium Chloride Crystalline Hexahydrate (6 lb. each) and One container of High Purity Magnesium Sulfate (8 lb.). These items are from Bulk Reef Supply and are UNOPENED. They retail for ~$17.99 each plus shipping....so, about ~$60+ for the three. I will sell them directly if you want to make an offer or trade for some SPS/LPS.
I don't ever seem to need to adjust my Mg levels so it's taking up shelf space.
Talk to me...
-
Not for sale anyway...someone has to take charge of watching the tank..."Watchfish".
-
Nope, just a regular Ocellaris Clown.
-
-
Yea, spending $26 to build one is better than the $600+ for a skimmer! It just takes a few months to get the Algae to the right point.
-
I have a 55 gallon that I'd trade for it? Sounds like it's in your way and the tank is in mine?
-
Well, it's been 3 months since going to the Drip Method, unplugging the Protein Skimmer and increasing the size of the ATS from 2 panels @ 8.5"x11" to 4 panels (pic attached).
I've turned on the Protein Skimmer every weekend for two days straight just to confirm my suspicions...(yes, I have cleaned the Protein Skimmer to insure it's effectiveness) and NO waste collects in the Skimmer! I have not used it in the past two weeks.
The only maintenance that I now do is my usual 10% weekly water change(it's slightly less but given I have a 20 gallon barrel it suffices).
Tank readings are
Salinity: 1.025
Calcium: 425
dKh: 8-9
Phosphates: 0.0ppm
Magnesium: 1350

I use Gorilla Brand "SuperGlue". The cap never clogs. As for mounting a Frag, dry the rock piece that you want to mount the frag on with an old towel as best you can. No big deal if it's a bit damp. Same with the bottom of the frag. Place a drop on the rock where you want to mount the frag, (I always "dry-fit" first to see how evenly it will sit). Hold it in place for a minute. You can let the frag out of the water for a few minutes with no problems. After all, the tide does go out and expose the reef every day... Blow on the glued spot for a minute to accelerate the drying. Then, put it back in the tank.
Cheers!

Mike,
I have 3 MH bulbs (400w Mogel) and ballasts in the "For Sale" area. All you need is a reflector for your needs.
