Well so much for setting up the tank. Found a water leak in our closet that soaked everything on the floor. Sigh. Thankfully it wasn't a tank leak lol. Gotta call the maintenance man, let him gawk at the tanks, then show him the leak. When it rains....

Been away from the board for a while. Life happens, and when it rains it pours. I hope to get caught up on what's going on here. I'll have to post the updates to all the tanks, as well as the new one were FINALLY getting up and running today. Yay!

debating on putting sand in my frag tank, and pondering how to do a WC on it with pods swimming everywhere.

*face palm* I see what you mean. The setup is a 7.5 gallon barebottom, with a large colony of zoas, and the rest is rocks with gsp, and a bunch of other things scattered around the tank. I have a modded AC fuge on the back, that is packed with macro and cheato, but a lot of the pods are in the DT all over the frags and walls.

How do I cut a leg of a starfish off?

Note to self: check filter media more often. Flooded my living room this morning. Sigh.

Truth in status updates Tuesday. When I was 5 my dad did a magic trick and pulled a bunny out of his top hat for my birthday. I thought they needed sunlight to grow, so the next morning I pulled his hutch out into the middle of the yard... and forgot. He had no shade Needless to say, no more bunny.

Going to pick up some goodies after work. When I asked if I needed my transport bucket, the reply "I have a 48 gallon tank you can have and use as a transport container". Holy moly I'm excited.

I found someone that I guess is moving this week, and with their work needed to have everything gone tonight to tear the tank down. Not sure what to expect, aside from what I had inquired on, just a little fish, but they had some corals, and I just don't know what. Not sure what to expect, but 6pm can't come fast enough.

Finished my Powerpoint presentation and sent it to my interviewer who "wanted to see more of my work" as he continued interviews.... Hope that's a good sign.

My husbands Grandparents were killed in a plane crash in Alpine yesterday morning. What a crappy way to celebrate the holiday. They were good people and will be missed dearly.

I fell in love with this one up at RC, and they started to get the other one, and I said wanted this one bc he looked really good and healthy. They had to take all the coral out of the tank, (something new they started) and chase him around. I am in awe of him. He is constantly munching away. On a side note, I didn't know that something so small could have big bright green poo. His competes in size with my Jack Dempsey.

Spent 2 hours rescaping my tank. I love it.

Ok, so I posted an ad on CL basically saying the same thing. A mystery person somehow pulled her information, and now I have her work address, home address, DL #, history of her car... it's amazing the workings of the interweb. Kinda scary. Thanks for all the support guys! It's much appreciated.
