+BobcatReefer
I feel like I know the answer to this, but I need confirmation. Got a BRS doser today. Does the doser have to be oriented N/S? Can I mount it E/W? I realize there will be a % efficiency loss, but I can't imagine it's too much.

It operates on pressure caused by the rollers on the tubing. Orientation shouldn't matter in those regards. Only issue I could see if it was designed for vertical orientation the way the tubes come off it that operating it on its side could put pressure on the tubing causing pinching or leaks. In that respects, then no, only operate it vertically.
jolt
I would definitely support the tubes as Ty suggests, making sure no sharp bends. I think the mounting brackets should be just fine, if they are like my BRS dosers its a slide on clip
+BobcatReefer
Yes - slide on mounting "clip". Not worried about pinches as I have clean lines to/from the pump. Thanks for the confirmation. Was 99.9% sure but didn't want to start in on this project w/o being certain.
