  1. Recently started up my 110g tank and looking for some nice additions. Not looking for anything specific, but have always liked zoa's, mushrooms, chalice, & monit's. Would be ideal if someone has multiple colorful pieces that we could do a frag pack. Prefer N. of the river, but open to making a trek S. Thanks -Jason
  2. Would like to take a few off your hands. 11, 15, 17, & 18. I can meet up today or another day this week. PM me a day that would be convenient.

  4. Happy to be back into reef keeping after a bit of a hiatus.

  5. We could, but understandably, each shipment would need to meet the min requirement for free shipping. Otherwise, just have to split the shipping between the people on that delivery. I'm sure you northerners will be able to qualify for free shipping pretty easily. No biggie. I don't need much at all, and there doesn't seem to be any other southern folks that need cleaners right now.
  6. I'd be happy to organize the group order, but it looks like most of y'all are up N. so Theresa may be a better option.
  7. I ended up just doing my own order as there wasn't any interest at the time, and I needed a crew to get to work. ReefCleaners group orders are pretty easy to set up. John is very responsive and great to work with. I could probably use a few more hermits.
  8. I picked up a frag of the Tyree Flower Petal, & watermelon from Stone and I can tell ya that the pics do not do them justice. The watermelon is a fast grower. I will probably be rolling over to Stone's casa to pick up one of these frags, so I could help transport something ALL the way back to Austin, or RR if someone is interested in one of these, but doesn't want to make the drive. I live at Slaughter and Manchacca, but work in RR. I frequently bring stuff up to RR (in a cooler) so it's not a problem.
  9. Just on the surface? If thats the case, then simply pointing a power head toward the surface to provide surface agitation can help quite a bit. That "surface scum" can block the transfer of oxygen and co2, as well as light.
  10. Removed post. I didn't pay attention and see that this was a feshwater discussion.
  11. It is an amazing fish. Here is the back story on how this fish came to the US and the breeder you linked to. http://www.bluezooaquatics.com/resources.asp?show=416 There may be more available (wild caught) as a new importer has been licensed in PNG and will begin shipping livestock to the states. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog/png-hopes-revived
  12. Order has arrived! If you ordered something, your welcome to come grab it. Shoot me a PM or call when your on your way. I'll begin sending out individual PM's to people with my phone # and address.
  13. BTW, those plates are very cool looking. Congrats. From death, came several new lives!!!
  14. Another lesson is that death is not always final in the saltwater world. Similar thing happen with a neon orange fungia of mine. It died & withered away to bare skeleton.. I just left it on the sand bed, a brittle star eventually flipped it over, and I never gave it another thought. Several months later, 4 babies budded off the side & are slowly growing. I've been meaning to cut or break up the skeleton to let them develop on their own. I don't have any experience with letting several individual fungia grow off one common base. All the fungias I've ever seen or owned have been their own individual. I've had similar experiences with softies, LPS, & SPS. So don't ever give up on em!
