Reybeast
thats just sad, the loss of life, time and effort, and I bet they dont put it back up either.

chrisfowler99
What a dumb a$. I hope she had insurance. Campuzano-Martine, 36, who was at the airport to pick up a relative, was cited for careless driving, failure to use a child restraint device and failure to provide a driver's license, Geoghagan said. Somehow I doubt it...
muddybluewater
I didn't figure she did but I thought that was about the only way the tank would be replaced. I stand by the dumb A$$ comment.

Captain Vash
Omg, no! I saw that tank when I went to visit some friends in Florida... It was a beautiful tank. Made me want to start mine up again.
mFrame
So what kind of setup was this that a Truck from outside the airport could make it in far enough to damage a tank in the airport? Was it on an external wall? I also thought that for a $1500 tank to only lose $3-5k in fish seemed like an awfully low estimate. Either way, very sad. +mcallahan
And she didn't let the kid go to the hosiptal to be checked out. Awesome..stupidity all the way around.

PeeperKeeper
And she didn't let the kid go to the hosiptal to be checked out. That's what makes me angry. Terrible shame about the tank (BTW, I think it was 1500 gallons, not dollars. ) but she not only has her kid bouncing around the vehicle without a seatbelt but doesn't even care to make sure he's okay! Captain Vash
It was a massive tank. It's viewable from the inside and outside of the airport. Right by the center doors to the red gates luggage/car rental area. Believe there was also a historic marker on it or something stating how long it's been there.
