reefman
I've had a Sand Shifting Starfish (actually had two, but the little one has been MIA for awhile and we think he is gone). It appears something is chewing on his legs. My wife swears she saw a bristle worm on him one night (hence her hatred and unchanging view that they are bad), but I'm still not sure. What could be slowly chewing away at the Starfish? Stephen
jroescher
If you have a Harlequin Shrimp, that could be a problem. The bristle worm is just eating dead tissue.
reefman
No Harlequin Shrimp. I wanted to get some of these until I realized they were starfish eaters. In the tank, I have a cleaner shrimp, 2 Goby's, 2 Angels, 1 Tang, 1 Blenny, 1 Cleaner Wrasse, and 1 Pink Fairy Wrasse. Other than that, only the critters (like bristle worms) that live in the LR and corals. Stephen
