Can I put a orange skunk into my 55g tank with my 2 Ocellaris clowns? the clowns have been in the tank for almost a year.

It is a loaded question. The short answer is yes. With respect to Ocellarius Clowns, they are the most gregarious of all clowns. The skunk is more aggressive than the false percullas. Because the new fish being added to the established tank is at a disadvantage things should be OK. No one can tell you if it ok except for the fish themselves. Go for it.

what if iput the clowns from the 55 into my 29 would that be better than adding them back into the 55g tank after a wile like 4 weeks or longer?

You can try it. See if they butt heads. If they do be prepared to take them out. If not, good for you.

I think we had a thread before on good ways to seperate them. Colander, plastic dividers rearranging rocks ect.

I was thinking about doing this also but due to the multitude of unsuccessful stories I decide against it. Mine aren't spawning yet so they wild prolly be ok but once they start they get much more territorial. At this point I don't even think they have been to the other half of the tank(180 gallon). But it's up to you as their are some success stories also.
