+mcallahan
Does anyone have Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure? I need to dip one of my corals and I'd like to do it sooner than later (i.e.wait for the shipment to come in) Thanks!
Brooks
You might consider using ReVive by TLF. It kills just about everything and from what I've heard doesn't do hardly any damage to your coral at all.

cmanning
Mind if I ask why or what you're dipping for? Hope nothing serious.
+mcallahan
dapettit and I think its fast necrotizing tissue...whatever... its called. That thing I PM'd you about. Doesn't look like Acro eating flat worms as the death of the tissue shows no bite marks and it is towards the top as well as at the base. I just dipped it and no flat worms fell off. I went w/ the Pro Coral b/c it specifically kills the flatworms and several people online attested to it. So I decided why not get one thing that would kill everything...except the coral. cmanning
I would think that if it's some type of fungal bacteria that lugol's would of taken care of that. Did you went ahead and frag a healthy piece.......it would be wise to do so before it reaches all the healthy tissue. Might look small when you're done but you can save some before it's all doomed. +dapettit
It looked alot like tissue necrosis. Not RTN but STN.
cmanning
If it doesn't make it.....you're more than welcome to a frag I have leftover.
+mcallahan
Well today the polyps were out farther than I've ever seen them. It will be a while before I can tell if the dying tissue is stopping, but I'm pulling for the best. Thanks for the offer Cindy, I'll let you know what happens. +mcallahan
I dipped several of my corals earlier this week and the results have been great. My tri color acro that had the necrosing tissue issue is laying down new growth over the formerly dead tissue. My pink and green damascus that also had some strange bleaching at its base is extending its polyps again for the first time in 2 weeks. I'd highly recommend the stuff! ReeferMadness
Did you get it locally or did you have to order it online?
+mcallahan
River City had 1 bottle. $30. $18 online, but I didn't want to wait and supporting our sponsors is a good thing.
ReeferMadness
Gotta try to keep it local when ya can. I will probably try to pick some up next week just in case it is needed in the future.

+dapettit
Good to here things are getting better. Do you think that the reef-fuel or whatever it's called may have helped as well? Dave-
