I'm in dire need of aiptasia control (been down the chemical, filefish, peppermint roads; haven't risked the copperband attempt). Checking to see if anyone has adults berghia locally. Will trade corals or pay cash.

Otherwise, any recommendations for purchasing from online vendors?

Any leads appreciated. Thanks

Kevin

Best bet is to get something to eat them (my preference are berghia).  I've tried all the commercial products with only limited success.  I've even pulled out rocks and scrubbed them out of hiding holes using small brushes and hydrogen peroxide only to have them pop back up after a week or so, albiet much smaller.

Little late of this but I have found the peppermint shrimp caught at the packery channel in port A. to be good at eating aiptasia. There are two variants you will catch there.

The ones you want to go for have thicker red stripes. You can catch them easily by going at low tide, at night, with a red light. Shine the light down the rocks and you will see the reflection in their eyes. Then just put your net in the water and pull it up against the rocks.
