barderer Posted October 19, 2023 Share Posted October 19, 2023 I recently cleaned out the old pump in my BioCube 29 which has been running strong since 2007! However, it has become pretty loud and I would like to replace it with a quiet pump as I was thinking about moving the tank in my office. Problem is its like impossible to figure out what is quality these days. I was looking at Jebao DCW SINE DC Controllable Water Pump (DCW-1500) Jebao DCP-2500 LANDEN BIOSMO 1000 The reviews are all over the place. Just need something that is quiet. will last years and will maintain a consistent water level such that my ATO works reliability. Ideas? Timfish Posted October 20, 2023 Share Posted October 20, 2023 Have you looked at replacing just the shaft and impellor? Even the ceramic ones will wear over time.
