+AustinKyle
Any chance someone has a couple sets of glass suction cups laying around? I’m looking to borrow or rent some to move a large aquarium from the garage to my living room within the next couple weeks. I’ve ordered a new cade 2100 I’m in the Georgetown area
Timfish
I've got a set but they're an inexpensive set and will work well for pulling and pushing a big tank around but I wouldn't try lifting the entire weight of a tank with them. Straps under the tank would be how I would do it without a hydralic cart.
+AustinKyle
Thank you Timfish. I’ll keep looking around to see what I can find/borrow. I may take you up on your offer if I can’t find something. Thanks again!
mFrame
The club has a few sets but as Tim said they're not high-dollar. What part of town are you in?
+AustinKyle
Thanks for the response. I’m on the south side of Georgetown off of 2243. It’s nearly 600 lbs so trying to find options for getting it from the garage to the living room. It’s probably 30’ between the two.
Timfish
You might check equipment leasing places to see if yuo can find a hydralic lift cart. A simple platform can be made with 2x4s if you find one but it doesn't have the hieght you need. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=hydralic+lift+cart&atb=v153-1&iax=images&ia=images
+Grog
Some auto parts stores will lease/lend stuff like this.
