A.berry
Hello Everyone! First off I want to say how awesome it is that there is a club in Austin! I live a little bit away in Temple but come to Austin pretty often, and with Fish Bowl in Temple closing for good, I have no LFS to go to here so I'll be in Austin more. Anyways, I've been keeping Freshwater tanks for years with the last 2 being heavily planted. Right now I have a 10 gallon El Natural tank with some platys and danios in it. It's almost maintenance free and I've never had the nitrates get above safe on either of my test kits, just have to top it off as it evaporates So now I'm going to try my hand at a saltwater tank. I was originally going to use a 30 gallon I had lying around but after seeing reefjar.com, I'm sold! I know that makes me crazy for wanting to do a pico reef as my first try, but I'm feeling confident I can be successful with it. So I've picked up the jar and tomorrow I plan to come down to Austin for some sand and dry rock so I can start cycling.

A.berry
Thanks! Here's the jar now. My wife likes the cookie jar and thinks it will fit with how she's decorated so I got the thumbs up!
ReefMedic68W
Also in Temple! I'm new to planted tanks but very experienced in the saltwater realm. Surely we would help each other out!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
