Rocks Reef
Ok, I have a 90 gallon... not the regular 90, this one is 36"x24"24". It has a center overflow on the back wall with two return loc lines. I also have two MP-10Ws on alternating current. Question is...where should I aim the return lines? I want a nice random chaotic flow. Right now, the return on the left is aimed at the back glass/corner behind rock work, one on right is aimed slightly down at front glass. Current in tank seems random at this point, just looking to see what other people have done or if anyone has any suggestions. Appreciate the feedback. jestep
If they have a single nozzle, I usually keep them very high aimed slightly upward so they quickly break the siphon in case of a power loss. Just depends on the tank and if they're locline or other longer flexible ones, but if they're aimed way downward, they can often siphon way too much water into the sump.
