Jimbo662 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Is this normal? It's one of the newer head and I just saw it laying on the sand fully inflated Quote
FarmerTy Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Polyp bailout usually means there is a condition that is not agreeable. Getting enough light? Too much flow? Quote
Jimbo662 Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 hmmm, may be a combo of both. I'll work on that. Quote
FarmerTy Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I've heard it's rare that the bailed polyp will ever grow a skeleton but it can happen. Otherwise, I know a fat emperor that will make a tasty snack out of it. Lol. Quote
jestep Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I've had candy canes survive this. One of mine was probably only about 3/8 inch wide and it ended up growing a skeleton beneath it in the sandbed. Key is getting it to stay put without smashing or damaging it, which is much easier said than done. Quote
Jimbo662 Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 Thanks, I'll see what I can do with it Quote
