12_egg_omelette
hey y'all. I was wondering if anyone has a frag tank set up in their sump. I was thinking since I was upgrading and instead of keeping the 12 gallon nano I would attempt if possible to make a frag set-up in the sump and use my AI nano sol to light it. If anyone has had success can you share what you did along with any difficulties you had along the way. Would it be advised to run this on an opposite light schedule of the DT? nori4dori
I have a 2 tank sump. From the DT it flows first to a 10g tank that houses my filter sock chaeto and skimmer. From there it overflows into a 20g long tank that's mostly my frag area separated by a baffle from the return pump. I'll post some pics later. nori4dori
I have a cfl light for the chaeto that's on reverse. My frag tank light is same schedule as my DT.
FarmerTy
Got mine in the middle chamber. I just ran a 250-watt metal halide over it and built a rack. I run it from 8am to 12pm, my regular lights run 5pm-12pm.
