Manny Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Looking at purchasing an ATI 48" 6 bulb fixture. I started the hobby with T5s and miss the color I was getting with them. I've had this fixture for less than a year. I purchased them last year in May and they are still under warranty. Looking to sell for $400. I just want more control over my color. 6 bulbs = many possibilities vs White Vs Blue= little possibilities. I just miss choosing exact color combos. It's a very good light. FarmerTy Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 I'm sure I've said it a million times but my personal opinion is that T5s are the best for SPS coloration. I only run halides because I'm lazy and cheap. I don't want to change out 8-10 bulbs on my fixture every year at $25/bulb. If I were to switch to LEDs, this fixture may be my choice.
