lenver
You need to get under the purple stuff, just get under it and pull it off

Jimbo662
I used a 1" putty knife when I removed the stuff in my old tank and it peeled off in huge sheets.
Timfish
My experiences when trying to glue large sheets onto stuff it works better to cut or rip it into smaller pieces. I takes time to look the same but the new growth will attach to the glass quicker so it's less likely to come unstuck.
Christian
That would be a good idea since is spreads across about 2-3 feet of my tank right now

stoneroller
Nice. I used scissors to cut the mat and then glue to rock rubble. What are you going to do with that big mat?
