Stephen
Found this old computer stereo dimmer switch in my garage and can't seem to figure out the wiring. Anyone have any ideas? My driver has 2 wires(+/-) for the switch, but my dimmer switch from my stereo has 4 wires. 4 wires go into the switch and 4 come out. My original dimmer has 3 connections (+/-/controller) and I only used the (+/-)
Planeden
i'm pretty much scared of wires, but could the stereo dimmer have a +/- for left and right?
Reburn
I'm no electronics expert. However what you have looks like a sub control. It maybe a low pass through but I don't know. I would hook the positives up to the pos and neg of the driver and the negs of the to a common ground of the led fixture. I'm not responsible for fires or melting lol..... It did have a sub, so maybe one set for speakers and the other for subwoofer? hmmm
