subsea
What about Edwards Plateau Limestone prevents its use in reef tanks?
jake112005
I have a few in mine. They make good sturdy base rocks. One is starting to get some coralin on it. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
[email protected]
I kept a few pieces for my saltwater setup. I just had too many large pieces and wanted to leave more room for large fish. I have used it in other saltwater aquariums in the past and it works great sine it doesn't react to high pH. here is a pic of the tank with the pieces I kept:
subsea
I use it in many of my marine systems. After 2 years in a reef tank, it is indistinguishable from hi end live rock. Patrick
Woods
The real issue i see with it in SW tanks is that it isn't really that porus like true live rock for its biological filtering capabilities...
subsea
I do not use rock for biofiltration. Substrate is much cheaper for nitrification.
