JCAB
Looking to try out some sticks. My biggest problem is over feeding, so nitrates tend to be close to 20. Got a green one from Sam a while ago and I also have an orange encrusting Monti that's growing. So thought if try something else. Not looking for a big colony as I would hate to possibly kill something that big. Thanks!
jestep
I don't have any at the time, but montipora digitata are the easiest branching coral and they come in several bright colors. Monti caps are the easiest plating and encrusting corals. Birdsnests and other seriatopora's are supposedly easy, but I have a harder time with them than difficult acros. There should be a ton of members with digis and caps though.
Sascha D.
The "beginner" sps corals are pocillopora, montipora and birdsnest. I would try them first. I have a small piece of purple montipora digitata that I can let go for $5 and I'm available tomorrow.
Planeden
Let the battle of the birds nest begin.
ramsey
+1 for montipora. Hardiest SPS IMO.
Bpb
Fwiw I've had better luck with acropora than pocillopora and birdsnests. Sorry I know this is a wtb thread. Along those lines I'd be willing to bring you a little acro frag next time I come to town if you're still interested. JCAB
I forgot that I did not do well with a pocillopora. Bpb, definitely let me know when you come to town.Sascha, I'll pm you.

Sherita
I'm going to be listing up quite a few sps frags tomorrow. I just got home from Dallas and I'm whipped, but I'll have the pics up tomorrow.
