5 gallon Spec V. reef

I recently moved to Austin for work and don't have a ton of time or space right now but still wanted a reef setup. What I settled on was a Fluval Spec V. It's big enough for now and also required some DIY to make it work for a reef so it's occupying just the right amount of my free time right now.

So far I've upgraded the lighting, the return pump, the filtration/overflow setup, and added a small auto top off.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the progress so far. Its been up and running for just over 2 months.

What a cool fish. What is it?

Comical Blenny, they're normally way more money than I would want to spend but I found one pretty cheap. It's also going to be the only fish in the tank so that justifies it a little bit too.

Just a quick update. I ended up ordering 1 all blue 445nm Panorama
Pro and the Ecoxotic 1 touch control to add to the existing light
setup. So when everything is delivered I'll be able to have more
control over the color and intensity of the lights. The one white/blue
Panorama is doing great, but I wanted just a little bit more blue, and
with the controller I also get some cool lighting programs and a
moonlight option.

Other than that, everything is doing great so far. I added a few new corals too.
