Wade
Is there a way to quiet down the noise from the water flowing into the filter sock from the overflow box? I know I could put a piece of filter foam in there, but that would just be another thing to clean. I can't see a way to put a baffle in because the space is so tight. Is it foam or SOL? jestep
I have my overflow pipe further in the sock so it doesn't splash. Can't hear it at all at that point.
Wade
That's an idea. Do away with the handy dandy clip that mounts the pipe to the sump and just extend it down further into the sock. I may be old, but I'm slow!
jestep
Yeah. My overflow attaches to a piece of vinyl tubing and I used a hose bard to PVC at the bottom to make a more rigid nozzle to go through the hole above the sock.
(Bio)³
If that's a slip x slip just stick pvc section to extend into the sock Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4
