Ifthere is an item that someone else has already expressed interest in,then PM them and see if you can work out an arrangement, eg who'swilling to pay the highest, one wins then later frags the item togive/sell to the other, etc. I suggest using services like AuctionSniper.com to submit your lastminute bid vs inflating the prices by continually counter bidding. A lot of the acans that usually got for in the $30's sold in the $50's.... Was really suprised as I watched some of them end last night. They went from like $28 to $50 something in the last seconds..
