kmacc05 Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 Hi all! I know it's been a while since I have been on to update or even thank everyone that helped out in my recent ordeal. First and foremost, Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who contributed to the cause. It made a huge deal of help in getting things taken care of. You all have no idea how good it feels to receive help like that!!!! Truly amazing. I am sorry it has taken this long to get back to you all. Please do not think I forgot about y'all! Now, on to the update... I'm on my own now, sad to say. But things happen for a reason I guess and negativity will not help progress. I have finally gotten settled in a new house with a really good friend of mine. Luckily he had an extra bedroom in a duplex and moving was quite simple. Now that I am settled in and things are starting to look up, I figured it is time to get back on the swing of things with the tank. A buddy of mine has a 40 gallon that is sitting in house empty that he said I can have for my first starter tank getting back into it. So, I think I am going to start there and actually go the drilled overflow and sump method. Last time, on the 55 gallon, the HOB sump/fuge was a pain lol. I want to try a different approach this time around and concentrate more on coral than fish. Of course I will have a few fish for some movement, But I want my main focus to be growing beautiful corals. Tax return should be coming in soon to help get the ball rolling.
