+Mitch
I also use a 5gal jug w/ an Aqua Lifter. See this post for pics of my ATO jug setup: http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/22832-mitchs-90g-ver20/?p=192064 I think most people's issues will be whether you have the room for the jug. mFrame
Thanks for all the answers. @mFrame - I have thought of doing that. Is the pump outside the 5 gal square containers? If so, would a maxijet work? Details of my water change cart here, but that's a bit of a different subject. My RO/DI is in my laundry room. I have a 30g barrel there (I stacked my washer and dryer to free up room). The RO/DI fills the 30g barrel, and the cart is between the barrel and wall. I store my empty 5g jug on the bottom. I have a pump with hose in the barrel with an external power switch. Flip the switch, fill up the empty jug. Then just walk it over and replace the empty jug in my stand. My new stand has room for 2 5g jugs, so I put two in at a time and then just move the topoff hose from one to the other when it starts gurgling. I have to refill them about ever 1.5-2 weeks.
