+Mitch
mp10/20/40/60 owners, how long do the wet-sides typically last? i've had 2 mp40's in service for almost 3 yrs, and i just cracked one of the front spirals of the nozzle while cleaning. i superglued it for the time being, but i figure i should start tracking down a replacement. fortunately, ecotech does sell just this part for just $10 (vs having to get the whole wet side assembly for $93). i was gonna buy 2, but sadly it's gonna cost about $10 to ship. anyone want a spare or two and share shipping? mitch
Robb in Austin
I've had mine running for about the same time, with minimum maintenance, without issue. I too cracked one of the front pieces but see no need to replace it.
DerrickH
On the MP10, if you crack the front spiral, it will possibly vibrate a lot. I got my first MP10 and it was not packaged well. It looks like someone crammed the wet side in the cavity in the box. I superglue'd it but it was noisy. Marine Depot sent me a new one free of charge. On the 40+ the spiral doesnt matter since the fan is bolted to the magnet assembly and essentially uses the magnetic poles to keep alignment. You will need to replace the bushing in them probably every couple years.
