Mr Cob
Been awhile since I have updated this thread. Some will be disappointed with this update but I have taken a new path in the hobby and have started breeding clownfish. As a result I sold off all of my corals to fund new broodstock and equipment. I will keep this thread going as this tanks progresses. I'm uncertain of the direction I will take with this tank now. At the moment I'm planning all RBTA...but I may go back to reef. For now this system is holding my spawning black ice pair. I think I would like to move the pair into my broodstock system once my other pairs are spawning because once I move them they will most likely stop spawning for a month or two and I would like to be able to keep rolling with collecting larvae...so I will need other pairs to pull from. bige
If they breed in there will you be able to collect the baby's?
Mr Cob
If they breed in there will you be able to collect the baby's? Yeah, they have been nesting in a pot...so I will just pull the pot on hatch night. Broodstock system.. Mr Cob
Well, now that my clownfish project has all that it needs I'm going to start getting this tank back on track since I traded or sold off practically all of the coral that I had in this tank. I have no idea on the direction of this tank...will just freestyle it. I came across a few clams in a recent trade of some of the fish I decided not to keep. At the moment I'm liking clams and anything that moves.
Mr Cob
Here is a better shot of my 2 favorite crocea clams... I really love the blue one:Here is another coral I kept during the sell-off, tyree neon green polyp toadstool. I actually chopped the entire head off and here it is growing back

Mr Cob
Came home today to some happy coco worms. Two of them started spawning (broadcasting gametes).I've been feeding this tank phytoplankton and rotifers regularly. Currently I have 3 clams, 3 coco worms and a hawaiian feather duster to name a few that would benefit from the phyto and rotis.

Quikssguy
Hello, I was doing a search for biocube 29 stand ideas and came across this post for your biocube with the wood stand and canopy. I was wondering if you still knew the person who made that for you or point me in the right direction to get one like that. Sorry to bother you but it was just so nice!
