Warlock Posted June 26, 2012 Share Posted June 26, 2012 i have seen a bunch of LED DIY fixtures made for REEF tanks.. but my question.. if i wanted to light up a 20 gallon HIGH, no plants.. just fish.. would this be practical.. whether it hangs or just rests on tank lid thanks.. skip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bettascapes Posted August 2, 2012 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Aquatek has some beautiful NON planted Led lighted tanks. I love them, led provides an awesome shimmering effect! IMO the stronger the individual bulb is the better the shimmer. I've seen some super cheap LED outdoor floodlights on Ebay, $20 for 20w LED light aint to bad. Teresa Posted August 3, 2012 Share Posted August 3, 2012 I just added a 3ft LED strip light to my 4 gallon pea puffer tank. I got it off ebay for $20. Supposed to be 6500k and 250 lumens/ft.
