dshel1217
I moved this unknow sps a month ago and the color changed. I only moved it up about 6" and the area has more flow. Is this normal? The first pic is before and the second is after. Its changing to a blueish purple color. thanks

wesreyn
Totally normal. Colors for SPS are usually different from tank to tank due to different lighting. I am running a little experiment on mine. When I get something new, I frag a little piece and mount one high and one low. This way I can see which brings out the color I like best. If i am looking at it right, it looks higher in the first pic. Am I looking at it wrong?
Timfish
Yeah, it's surprising how small a change in lighting or flow can influence some corals and others are totally oblivious.
