mFrame Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 Shouldn't be a problem at all, but you may want to put something like a small carpet with rubber backing under it. +dapettit Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 I'm having laminate put in this month. They are cutting the carpet around the tank, not movng a 150 gallon tank. I was told saltwater will ruin the floor, but I use a very large tarp on the carpet now and they said that would protect it while doing water changes. wa1tx Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 at one point I had a tank in my bedroom that has wood floors(bad idea if you are a light sleeper). I had a rug with a rubber back that I used around it when I was doing maintenance. I also was very vigilant of spills and drips. Never had any issues.
