Juiceman
I used 1000bulbs.com and Plusrite brand, about 15$ a piece
Timfish
I used Marine Depot the last time I bought but several people have posted good results with the Plusrites.

pbnj
The DE Plusrites bulbs are more expensive.
Juiceman
OH, yeah sorry, I didn't see you needed the DE Halides. I bought the mogul.
PeeperKeeper
Yeah, I just checked at 1000bulbs.com and they don't have any 250W MH's. Going to check Marine Depot. I used to get them from Frederick in Lago Vista (CoralReefBazaar.com) but he shut down.
PeeperKeeper
Okay found them at BulkReefSupply.com which I know is a sponsor here. I think I'll go ahead and get two of them. Is this a decent deal? http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/20k-250w-double-ended-ushio-aqualite-metal-halide-bulb.html All DE's fit the same right? I don't have to worry about different connections as long as it's DE? This was why I liked working with Frederick, because he knew what I had/needed and he would even come in and plug them in for me. JasonJones
All 250w DE bulbs should be the same size. Those bulbs look fine. You can check out PAR reading of 250w DE bulbs on Sanjay's site if you want to find one you think looks best. http://www.manhattanreefs.com/lighting Click on the compare lamp tab and play away
