Stacy
Ok, I need advice on which skimmer to get. I've decided to try to go new but still would like to stay under $300 if possible. In a 90g heavily stocked tank with a 20g sump, what are ya'lls suggestions based on your experiences? Thanks!
innate1
I'm a big fan of reef octopus. I love mine.
NonSequitur
+1 on the reef octopus. I have a 110 and a 200 on my heavily stocked 90+27gal system and really like them (really, too much skimmer for the tank, but the 110 was undersized considering my bioload and I got a great deal on the 200.) Timfish
There's some articles Advancedaquarist.com had in Jan '08 and Jan'09 of research by Ken Feldman on protien skimmers that was pretty intersting. Basicly "bubles is bubles" so go with easy to maintain and quiet.
