Chad and Belinda
I've seen a few at the LFS. However, I usually see the maroon linkias. I've never had good luck with the blues and a lot of reef sites will say they are hard to keep. It is a beautiful star. I would suggest calling some of the LFS and see if one they order one for you. It's easy for them to add it to their weekly orders. Jake at RCA is great to work with. So is Shane at Fishy Business. Both are in north Austin and close together. Hamp
I would do a lot of research on keeping the linkias. It might be hard to keep one in a newer 29gal. I decided against one for mine.
+mcallahan
These are for sure NOT easy to keep. Acclimating them alone can take hours and of all the blue linkias we've had on group buys, only 1 has ever made it. And it was in the hands of an expert reef keepers Serpent stars and fromia stars are better choices
ReefNewb
Hmmmm. Didn't realize they were that difficult. Well extra thanks for the input!

As Mark said, I think the key is a very, very, very, very, very (very!) slow acclimation period.

mFrame
Yep, I'd go with a marble fromia or the red knobby stars. I got two of the red knobby ones and they are awesome, bright, and always moving around the tanks.
ReefNewb
Will they mess with the few corals I have?
