TexasTiger
Just got a calcium reactor of reefcentral and the CO2 tank was emptied for shipping purposes. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to get it refilled? Thanks.
+dapettit
Most of us get our "gas" at Airgas on Lamar. 11111 N Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX 78753 (512) 835-0202 They are only opened M-F and close at 5pm. I also think Austin Homebrew sells "gas" too. New Location 9129 Metric Blvd Austin, TX 78758 Directions Our new store is located on the east side of Metric Blvd between the 183 Access Rd and Rundberg Ln in north central Austin. Store Hours Mon - Sat: 10 am - 6 pm Sun: Noon - 4 pm

TexasTiger
Thanks for the info. Don't suppose there is anywhere South that folks use?
Crab Rangoon
Thanks for the info. Don't suppose there is anywhere South that folks use? If you mean South Austin, then no just the two already mentioned, for years & years
TexasTiger
South Austin is a reef void. So strange.
Derry
FWIW, I spent less than $15 at AirGas earlier this week to refill my 5-lb tank.
+dapettit
You might call these guys. I found them through google. Air Liquide America Corporation 6501 W William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78735 (512) 899-2190 Not sure if they will sell to the public but it may be worth a shot. Let us know what you find out. Oh, if we're talking about places that may or may not deal with the public, rather than a business, then you could also hit up Praxair. That's who my company uses for refilling out shop supply - perhaps that will help, as they are definitely South, and even if they don't vend to the public you may be able to set up a customer account with them under your business name? TexasTiger
That Air Liquide number is not in service. Guess I'll just go to Airgas since I'll be up north today anyway.
