The top of the stand is set in 2" so you cant see the black brace that is on the bottom of the tank. The canopy is made the same way, to cover the black brace on the top of the tank. Stand Measurements: 50"L X 14 1/4"W X 32"H Canopy: 50"L X 14 1/4"W X 8"H 300$ Tank:20$ 55g Bulbs: 4 free Giesemann 54W T-5s.
