doktorstick
In my order to Reefs2Go, they were supposed to send me two 1-inch male clownfish (or mated pair). They have been fighting and has really picked up over the last few days. They are both very ragged looking, scarred, and ripped fins (the pectoral fins of one are almost gone). How long do they tend to fight to establish female/male dominance? I'm wondering if they are actually both females and that Reefs2Go screwed up on the sexes (they screwed up the sizes--they were 2-inches)?
GKarshens
Could be. It is typically better to get one large and one small so the dominance is already decided. You might contact them and tell them what is happening.
JamesL
I had a pair of cinnamon clowns I bought when they were both small. Eventually they went through the dominance fight, and if I remember correctly it went on for a few weeks.
