Headless_donkey
Our yellow clown goby that we just put in the tank has ich. We have a quarantine tank(that we didn't use, fantastic). What should we do? I have read it could be caused by stress, but I do not want to risk the health of the other fish.
GKarshens
I don't QT either. I have had some success with heavy feeding and soaking the food in Garlic extract. I have had a couple fish kick the Ich and a couple just plain kick it, so take that however you want. Of course, the 2 I lost to Ich were both Tangs. apmark
I have a fish in quarantine that I just treated for ick with quick cure. I did the three days treatment that the bottle said and the ick appears to be gone. How long before I introduce it into the reef tank? liquafried
i believe ick comes in waves. first u see signs, then it appears to get better. actually the parasite is breeding in your sand! i would wait the 10 days just to make sure u are completely over the cycle. GKarshens
Watch your parameters very closely while in QT and Hypo treatment. They can go south very quickly with no rock or sand in the tank.
