Very nice. I would love to have a tank dedicated to BTA's as well.
FTS please...

still have some nice frags of red digi ~ $5
-
Baffles are generally 1" apart and in an over-under-over configuration in an effort to prevent micro-bubbles from reaching the display tank.
Melev has a nice explanation of them and all other issues pertaining to sumps at

hermits pending for lewk

If you could spare about 5 blue legs lemme know. I need some for a nano.
They are promised to JimD
I'll ask him when he comes to pick them up if he wants to share 5 of them

Hermits pending to JimD
Still plenty of Red Digi and green palys left
-
Got some awesome rics from Coral Morphologic today and they threw in about 25 small blue legged hermits that I don't need ~ Free to a good home
Also got some nice sized frags of red digi and a few green paly's ~ $5/frag

why would we risk it getting lost or broken in the mail when you can go pick it up? Besides, any joe schmo could sign up as a premium member, have it mailed to them and then its gone. If I was a crook, I'd spend $10 to get a $300 piece of equipment.
mcallahan is out of the group buy

"Suction cups" for moving heavy glass tanks might be nice for a club rental item also.

Don't be bummed, there's pics of his nem tank packed to the brim with RBTAs floating around here somewhere and he seems to have been raising them and selling them for years now. I think the tank itself is good for a look around, even if you'll only end up buying one kind of thing.
I replied to Corey's PM
Agreed that Mickey's tanks (yes...he is an individual) are worth a look. He has over 30 Sherman RBTA

Let's see...she came to Texas from New York and is selling us stuff....
Isn't that the same thing as a carpetbagger?

Because of the horrendous accusations, labeling and apparent discrimination I feel not only as an Italian-American, a native New Yorker and a person of affluence, I will be withdrawing my sponsorship and membership to the Austin Reef Club. You have brought me out of my comfort zone. Sometimes in life, you can go too far. Now you can trash talk all you want, just leave me out of it.
Later, dudes..................
now....who really believes me???????????????
Is today the Italian version of April Fool's?

What is interesting is that the manufacturer recommended NOT to us a metal frame saying that it could flex and crack the tank.
Interesting since A.G.E. builds and recommends you use their own metal stands for larger tanks.
A.G.E (who is a high quality custom tank builder in Houston) provides a 3 yr warranty if you use their metal stand, 1 yr warranty if you use a manufactured stand and no warranty if you use a DIY stand.

Do those shermans have blue centers or green?
Ridiculously orange red tentacles with a purplish blue center
-
I'm also talking with Shane from Fishybusiness about setting up a group buy for some ORA tank raised mandrins when they become available.
Count me in also.

Awesome vid Mark!
Very professional looking....where did you find an all white room?
Do you still have a demo model...could rent it out to lift heavy tanks and stands
-
They are very beautiful and worth the extra expense in my opinion.
Here is a shot of mine with T5 actinics.
-
I have a nano wavebox and it did the same thing at first. After about a week break in it seemed to get a lot quieter. Same thing with my MP40 vortech.
-
If mine splits then I will let you know.
If you are ever in Dallas then check with Mickey (see previous thread)
He has lots and they are great quality

If this is the sump is from Southside45 then I am familiar with it....it is the one i built.
I kept Chaeto and rubble in the middle chamber. I think the baffles are designed to keep the water level at 8 inches.

Anyone contacted Kingfish recently?
I have been having trouble getting a hold of them.
I am interested in a quote on a AGE tank and have left 3 messages and sent a message thru their website with no response....

I've already picked out names for my frags...
I assume the head frags are prone to floating so I will call it "Bob"
Tail pieces tend to sit on the bottom so I am calling it "matt"

wher did you get your clown??
They are Rod's Reef Onyx Clownfish from Premium Aquatics. They are bred by the guy who makes Rod's Food which I also like.
I really like these clowns because of their coloring...they are half orange and half onyx.
congrats!!
In two days they have yet to notice the RBTA...
Stupid clowns.
Hope they notice soon.

How do you like the Bean Animal overflow?
Would you do this again on a larger tank?
