  1. [still available, but it's been out of saltwater for 2 days now. Call me @ 970-1767. Michael McDermott
  2. $20, I'm soaking it in vinegar water right now. Upgraded to Koralia 1400. Michael Mc.Dermott
  3. I've got a large piece of base rock/live rock. It's got quite a bit of coloration, but I just rescaped my tank looking for a dead fish (which I never found!) and want to make a little more space. Free for pickup-hurry it's not in saltwater right now. It's a fairly, flat, large piece--about 15 pounds or more. Give me a call as I'm still working on the tank and I won't be checking email for a while. I don't want to take a picture, but I can shoot one with my Iphone and send it to you if I must.... Also wouldn't mind if you wanted to throw some type of frag my way for it. Amazing, I lost my purple tang and removed almost every piece of rock in the tank and I can't find it!!!!! You think there would be something left? It looks like about a foot long by 8 inches a cross and about 4 inches or so thick and I think its even got a mushroom growing on it. Hurry, @ free it won't last long. Michael McDermott 250-8813

  5. Please delete Post...retrofits are gone// MJM
  6. Okay Joseph, I know this is a fish forum, but I see you are not far from me (live in Anderson Mill). Wanted to ask, how much for the system, and who did the work for you? Michael McDermott
  7. Selling 2 retrofit lights (I will take $40 for either). They come with bulbs, but it's time for new ones. 1) SunPAQ, 2X96 Watt Retrofit Kits. I have 2 bulbs that are a year old. The daylight is still working, but the actinic just burned out. I priced the bulbs @ Dr Foster and they are about $35. (square pin). Comes with reflectors, ballast, etc. Kits is a couple of years old. I originally paid about $175 for it. 2) Coralvue 4X65 Watt Retrofit Kit. I have 4 bulbs. 2 of the bulbs have about 6 months less use than the other set as I only used 1/2 of the 4 bulbs for my current tank. You can probably get a few months use out of those, but I would replace the others. I can't find my paperwork for these lights, but I paid at least $150 for the kit. I will take $40 OBO for either set. Michael McDermott sunpaqretro.bmp coralvue_retro.bmp
  8. What brand and how old? Does it come with the feet for mounting across the tank? Could you send a pic? Maybe I'll run my tank without the hood for a while. MJM
  9. That's not a retrofit is it? Looking for something that would go in a hood... Sounds like a good deal...does it come with all the bulbs?? Michael McDermott
  10. What is the length of the lighting? And I'm assuming these are PC? Michael McDermott

  12. Sorry Dave, They are all gone...tomota clown went to RCA today. Occelaris and six line sold yesterday. MJM
  13. Foxface is about 3.5 or 4 inches. I have a very large scribble rabbitfish that I kept. I would really like to keep him, but I have read theres a good chance they won't get along. MJM
  14. I have an ocellaris clown ($10), a tomato clown ($10), a foxface rabbitfish ($15), a scooter blenny ($10) and a six line wrasse ($10) for sale or maybe trade. All are healthy from 2 tanks that I just broke down (converted into one and now there are some potential compatability issues that I don't want to deal with). If I don't get any takers soon, they will be going to RCA to see if I can get some store credit. I'm available during daytime (work evenings) but can possibly arrange an evening pickup if required. Michael McDermott (Live in Anderson Mill, not too far from Lakeline Mall)
  15. PM sent on the Seio/// Michael McDermott
  16. Hi, I am picking up a 130 G tank later this week and plan on trying to consolidate contents (most of the fish, liverock, sand, and soft corals) from 2 tanks into the one. I have been reading through sites trying to get info, advice, recommendations to make this happen, but what I really need is a source for maybe some large containers. If anyone out there (would prefer North austin area if at all possible, I'm about 4 miles west of RCA) has any type of large container (e.g 20 - 40 gallon trash can or rubbermaid container use for water changes or livestock moves) that they could spare for a few days to help me make the move go a little smoother I would really appreciate it. I'm tentative on an actual date at this point, but I plan to pick up the tank this Sunday and maybe try to make the consolidation the week after. Anyway, anyone that wants to send me some advice (either through personal experience or maybe a good source out there on the net) or could lend out their container for a few days, I would really appreciate it. Michael McDermott
  17. Thnks for the info...I'm @ work...so will try to get back with you tomorrow. MJM
  18. Regarding a six line, do you think he would be okay with one? I read they (Lunar Wrasse) are peaceful fish. Also, would he be okay in a 90G tank? I may be interested. Michael McDermott

  20. Disregard my last...after reading more closely, see that's a leather that you were talking about in more detail. Can you do $30 for the Eyes and the larger leather frag (silver dollar size)? thnks Mike McDermott
