  1. Nice area that you are moving to. As for stores, the nearest one to you would probably be River City Aquatics. I highly recommend them as they are very professional and I find that they have great pricing on livestock and dry goods.

Welcome to ARC and Austin. I am sure that you will enjoy both very much. Feel free to attend the monthly meetings, as you will get to know a bunch of great Austinites.

  2. I'm not sure if I am aloud to put this on here, so if it against the rules, sorry! :)

I need help with filing A LOT of paperwork at my office. If you or someone you know is in need of some extra cash or just has some spare time, please contact me. I will need them to work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (the 15th through 17th) from about 10am to 3pm. I think these three days will give us enough time to organize everything, but I may need help for one or two more days.

Just PM me for more details.

    Thanks!

  3. Hmm... will they be delivered soon? So far there are only 5 orders :o I'm kind of in a tight schedule >_< I've got 2 days to pick it up

If you pay by PayPal, I can pick up and babysit them for you.

  4. From what the rep told me there, you will not be charged until the order is shipped so even the total won't show the buy one get one free, she will add it all up on Thursday and email you the final price, as she also has to add in the split up shipping and box fees. The buy one get one free pages are the australian acans and the wysiwyg pages. Anything on there is buy one get one free.

Alien Moon Favia - it doesn't really look like it yet, but hopefully it will color up over the next few weeks.

We got some other stuff too, but the pictures didn't come out all that great. For the most part, I am happy with this order. Just wish that the darth mauls would have made it

  6. I dunno..I was terrified to come to your house again after your dog almost licked me to death..!

At least she didn't think your wrist was a chew toy, as she does that with me all the time!

As for frags, get in on the next group buy. You can save a lot of money on the shipping part and you tend to get more unique items. I would rather get one nice piece that is a bit more pricey than a few "bread and butter" peices. You will end up having a super nice tank over time. JMO.

  7. I can see how someone may feel uncomfortable, especially around new people. Crossbonez, it will probably help if you come to one of the meetings. Everyone on here is nice and once you get to know the group a bit more, you won't have to worry as much. :o

  8. So, what is going on with this? Meeting tonight? Meeting tomorrow? I have a lot of stuff to do, not to mention tons of homework, so I would like to get a schedule going. Princer7, please let us know as soon as you can. Thanks!

  9. Our frags are doing okay. We were able to snag one more polyp of the tubbs blue zoas and they were pretty generous with the hawaiian tropics, cherry bombs, and ice blues. My darth mauls still haven't opened up, nor have the sun polyps but they don't look bad, just closed. Hopefully they will begin to open up in the next day or two. I'm anxious to see the darth mauls fully opened. :D

  10. Depending on the time for Saturday, I may or may not be able to do. I have class until 12 and then I have to go to my cousins graduation party at 6, I believe, so if it is between those two times, then yes, I can meet you at an LFS. If we don't meet at an LFS, I can still pick them up from you tomorrow evening. I also don't mind picking anyone elses frags up for them as long as they are already paid for.

  11. SO SORRY GUYS! I didn't talk this over with the other half of "TheSanfords" and it didn't go too well when I informed him of my plans - :) I'm no longer selling this set up. Again, SORRY!

Although, I don't want the chromis anymore, so if someone wants it, they can have it. Mikemcd, you asked first about the chromis, so it's yours if you still want it.

  12. We bought this from Blindside with high hopes of making it into a seahorse tank, but we've had very little time to do anything with it. The pics are from his "want to sell" thread so they don't show the complete set-up. We bought a brand new stand from River City about a month ago. Here is what is included:

40 Gallon Reef Ready Breeder Tank (1" drilled, plumbing included) $150

    Oceanic Reef Ready Sump $50

    Black Stand $200

    Mag 5 Pump $50

    PM Redline Skimmer $160

Geissman Nova Pro 2 Metal Halide 250 watt pendant and ballast with 2 months of use $175

    3x Koralia 3 powerheads $20 each

    150 watt heater $15

Phosban Reactor (with pump) - Two Little Fishes $20

    Live Rock - about 50lbs $1.50/lb

    Black Sand - Free

    Green Chromis - Free

    Lawnmower Blenny - $15

It's up and running right now and it's not a huge thing if we sell it or not so I am not desperate for the money. If someone wants to make payments on it, that's fine too. Of course, we would keep it until it is paid off. Asking price is $600 or individual prices listed above. Buyer must pick up. This tank and it's items have very little use on them.
