  1. I just made a super easy one in about 10 mins for $3. Basically put a 'T' off my return line to a ball valve then to a 1' section of pvc draining onto the screen. I have about a 7" height above the water line giving me plenty of coverage and it's all contained in the return section of my sump. The water is not flowing perfectly even but pretty close. I cut a straigt line the full length of the pipe and I'm thinking several holes or perpendicular cuts would have been better. I also just read a tip to rough up the screen with low grit sandpaper first. I'll post pictures if interested.

  2. I have a large ghost knife fish (very cool looking kinda like an eel). It's about 6-8" long and needs a bigger home. 100g would be perfect for him. willing to take a trade for some reef stuff or maybe $20

  3. I've read, I think on wetwebmedia that copepods start off nearly microscopic so they can travel through pumps no problem... only the adults are at risk. This makes sense to me as impellers don't actually make contact with the housing of the pump. I'm sure you may lose some but with that much room to grow I wouldn't worry. I'm curious about your algae scrubber, I'v been thinking of ways to fit one in a 20g sump.

  4. Man I'm always late finding the good stuff. If it's possible to get any mysticals I'd love to get some or the watermelon. I also like the blue xenia. Just let me know if anyone falls through.

  5. I'd love to pick some up from you if you decide to go ahead with it. I use to have two right next to each other and I always thought it would look real cool to have a whole grove of them.

    Thanks

  6. Looking for a little glue to modify my sump. If anyone has some I'd love to buy it. Its only to glue two joints and I don't wanna get a whole tube just for that.

  7. You can put me down for

B-ionic 2 part (2 gallon) @ 22.49 if we get free shipping. There may be a $4 overweight charge they don't waive though.

Azoo battery backup air pump @ 7.99

    1.06 oz Cyclop-eeze powder @ 10.49

    Total: $41.00

    Maybe more.

  8. Just thought I'd say hi to everyone and tell a little about my trip to St. Thomas.

My wife and I just went for our honeymoon. It is of course beautiful and the water was perfect. Visibility ranged from 25-75 ft, about 78 degrees and very calm seas. We stayed on the north end away from the tourist hubs and cruise ships, we had the beach completely to ourselves. If anyone is interested in going I highly reccomend it. As for what I saw: Manta Ray, Sea Ray, Remora, Baracuda, Tourtise, Sally lightfield crab, Queen Angel, chromis, sailfin goby, jawfish, Eels, Starfish, Christmas tree worms, feather dusters, conch, fan coral, brain coral, leathers, anenomes, some strange iradescent blue shrimp, some schools were so thick you litterally could not see through them. Just thought I'd share, I figured there had to be some other divers in the club.

    Sorry I don't have a waterproof camera.
