  1. Nice frag. Looks like a great growth. Amazing color.
  2. Just wanted to let everyone aware of the details since I received a PM about the tank. The tank is about 2.5 years old, 1/2" glass all around, and I sold the tank to Hydro's friend for $50 last fall. The tank was dropped during shipment and the 2 front corners were chipped. I let the tank sit with water for a month after the incident and it held water but I was not comfortable with the tank in a rental house.
  3. Thanks Mike. i ended up buying the 5 lb'er from BRS last night. Should be here in a few days.
  4. Anyone finding pickling lime? I looked all around Georgetown but I can't find it.
  5. I thought that tank looked familiar. The tank is definitely built solid with 1/2" glass all around.
  6. Do you think the Dart is running too much flow through the SCWD? Are the new SCWDs better than the old 1/2" ones?
  7. Looks great. How do you like the 27" height on the tank? I'm considering the same footprint, but a little shallower tank. I like the choice of lights, as I may use 2 to supplement my T5s.
  8. Awesome. Glad to see another person going with this size. I may make mine a little taller, 22" or so, but definitely going with 36x36.
  9. Definitely following this one. I'm hoping to upgrade to a 36x36 cube this summer.
  10. Lights look good Dale. No problems growing anything with all that light. On the dry/seeded rock, I used 50 lbs of dry rock and seeded it with a 5 lb live rock. With some MB7 and prodiobio, it was seeded pretty quickly. I think that it will take a while for a larger amount of dry rock, but with good circulation and nutrients, the bacteria will seed quickly. I don't think that you'll need light for the bacteria, but perhaps the corraline will need it.
  11. Dale, I'm going to bug you in a few months about building a tank. I'd love to build a tank myself.
  12. It is actually a tank in CA. Eddie just documented it. There is a huge thread on it on RC.
  13. I'll see what I can do. I think it is starting to grow off the rock, so it should be easier to frag.
  14. Yeah, I'm in the Highlands of Crystal Falls. I'll try and get a decent FTS today. It's a bit tough given the position of my window, etc. Perhaps we could trade sometime?
  15. Pink. I'll try and snap a picture from the front to show how bright they are.
  16. Thanks Clint. I honestly don't know what those are. I got them from a friend when he was tearing down his tank.
  17. Wife got me an Olympus underwater camera for my birthday. Still getting used to it, but it is a nice addition. Small and compact, should travel well. These are the best pictures I could get out of it right now. I have been slowly adding some more acros, got a bunch from acropoorer the other day. Gave me a huge chunk of pink milli. Things are going well with the tank, trying to hook up my dosing pumps so that I don't have to manually add Alk/Ca. Pink Milli (still adjusting to the tank) War Coral (also seen is the ORA purple plasma, and ORA Red Planet on the right) Blastos and others Zoa island
  18. Dena, if Pham doesn't want them, I'll take both of them as well.
  19. Let me look as well. I'm heading up to Dallas this weekend, so if I don't blow my coral budget up there, then I'll jump on this. He has some great prices on mini-colonies.
  20. I sent you a PM but never got a response. I'm around the corner from you and I'd like to come see your tank and buy some frags. Let me know.
  21. Looks good Gabriel. I like the open top with the reflector housing. I thought about doing that but I opted for a powermodule instead. Are you going to paint the door?
  22. Guess I won't be riding my bike South of 1431 on Parmer anymore. It's already a bad idea, and this just makes it worse.
  23. Sorry to see it go John. I wish my tank was ready for some of those great SPS pieces you had for sale.
