  1. Thank you to all who showed interest. The rock was sold to the first person who replied. Several people emailed me about the clowns in the pictures. I am keeping those guys, but if you are interested in buying some of your own, I bought mine from Doni at Doni's Reef (link below): http://www.donisreef.com/ I originally bought a pair of Grade A picassos from her. Back when I bought them, she was putting up videos of every fish she was selling, but since then I think she has started selling too many to continue that practice. One of the clowns that I bought from Doni jumped, so I unfortunately lost one. Instead of buying another $125 fish, and because I wanted something a little different, I replaced the lost one with an Onyx clown from Premium Aquatics (one of the Rod's Reef percula onyx that premium aquatics used to sell...not sure if they still do or not). So, the larger one with more white is the grade A picasso from Doni and the small guy that is an onyx from premium aquatic.
  2. I'll be moving to Dallas soon, so I'm having to get rid of some of the fish tank stuff. Up for sale is the main rock in my nano. Based on my guestimate, the rock below is about 12" x 6". On the rock, there is a mixture of Tubs Blues, Darth mauls, Nuclear Greens, blue w/ yellow center, orange/blue zoanthids and a few heads of a blasto. I'm looking to sell for $250. I am not going to break the rock up to sell individual pieces. Thanks for looking, Mark

    MCE 600

I've had this skimmer for about 2 1/2 years, previous owner had it for 4 months, I believe. Anyway, the reason I'm selling is because I just don't pull a ton of skimmate out of my tank. I don't know if it's due to my sloth or if I don't have a ton in my tank to pull out, but I just don't think I need one on my tank. So, I'll get pictures of it up here soon. I'm asking $350. I live in Pflugerville, work in Austin, so I can meet anywhere within a reasonable distance.

    SPS/ZOA frags

Any interest in a trade for the garf bonsai? I can trade you some combination of a 1" x 2" frag of idaho grape, 3 or so polyp frag of nuclear green palys, or 2 polyp frag of darth maul zoanthids, or a few polyps of the zoas below: I can send pictures of any of them if you need. - Mark
  5. Hey guys/gals. I thought I would check to see if anybody local has any of the frags mentioned in the title. I'm looking for a frag of oregon blue tort, garf bonsai, and pink lemonade. Willing to pay cash or offer up a few frags as partial payment (idaho grape, nuclear green zoanthids, amongst a few others). Thanks, Mark
  6. Do you know what kind of light that is on the tank (brand)? I'm looking for something just like that.
  7. Where are you guys ordering these dwarf morays from?
  8. Jack: We have another pointer, but don't have any pictures of her on my computer.
  9. what happens when the mangroves grow too large for the tank? Is it a perpetual replacing the mangroves with smaller ones? Oh and I made the move from FL to Austin as well, Creon.
  10. I am in the process of building my first guitar (east Indian rosewood b/s and cedar topped small body guitar based on the olson body style). I sold my guitar to fund the buying the tools, and have just started building #1. I will post some pictures when I make progress.
  11. I moved my tank over to a 40 gallon ADA tank, so if anybody wants a drilled 30 gallon Oceanic (tank only), they are free to pick it up from me. I am in Pflugerville. I will put a picture up later, but until then a description will have to suffice. There are 5 holes drilled in the back. Two on the each of the back (on near top, one near the bottom), and one in the middle near the bottom. They are all for 1" bulkheads. I had it set up with the middle hole as a closed loop drain, the two bottom holes were returns for the closed loop, the two top ones were drains to the sump, and the returns from the sump came over the back. Send me an email (markaburton at gmail dot com) or respond on here. Thanks, Mark
  12. Thanks for the link. That looks like a pretty simple and effective setup.
  13. Looks like the zoanthids are gone. I would also be interested in trading for a small sump.
  14. Indirectly through them. I called Jeff at ADG, and he pointed me in the direction of Aquatek to save on shipping. They are going to order it next week. I'll start up a thread to document the process when it gets in town. I would love to hear a quote. The tank is 30 x 18. I would like the stand to be 36" tall. I really like the look of this stand: http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/photo-al...-diy-stand.html with a different color finish (not sure what color exactly though). Thanks
  15. I now live in Pflugerville, and would prefer pickup, but I am willing to meet people as well. I am selling off a few things to help pay for a new tank. Here they are: Demon Eye Zoanthids [$20] The colors have faded a little bit in my tank, I'm not sure what their best placement in the tank should be. I got these from Copps on RC, and this is the picture from when I first put them in my tank. There are more polyps now: Green encrusting monti [$20] This is the frag when I first put it in my tank. It has grown quickly, so the frag I cut will be very similar in size to this picture: Clam [$60]: About 4" Give me an email at markaburton at gmail dot com or PM me on here if interested. Thanks, Mark
  16. I am getting a 30" x 18" ADA tank, and need a stand to set it on. Does anybody have anything, or have any ideas of places to find one? Thanks, Mark
  17. Found what I was looking for. Thanks for the interest.
  18. Posted this on MAAST as well, but in case others were wondering: http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=Gall...;g2_itemId=2976 There are a few pictures on there. They are fairly big polyps.
  19. Hey guys/gals. I have an orange yuma for trade and I am looking for nuclear green palys. The yuma is just a baby (slightly bigger than 1/2") that was laid by the mother a few weeks ago. Here are a few pictures of the mother: I'm looking for the real deal Nuclear Green Palys. Any interest? -- Mark edit: All those pictures were taken under the 250 watt 20K AB bulb I was using at the time.
  20. Yours was actually one of the tanks that I really liked this on. Did you have the steel part powder-coated? Does anybody know people in Austin who do this type of thing?
  21. I notice when looking at the big tank forum on RC that a lot of the tank stands are made from steel tubing and skinned in wood. I'm thinking about setting up a new tank (roughly 80 gallons). Are these style stands quite a bit more expensive than just a solid wood stand? I like the idea of using a steel stand and attaching the wood with magnets or something along those lines so I can remove the entire wood skin for full access under the tank. Any thoughts on this? any idea of potential costs for doing this on an 80 gallon tank?
  22. Looks great. I love the dimensions of the tank. I have also made the trek from Florida to Austin, but I decided to sell/give away everything before moving and starting from scratch once I got here.
  23. Any interest in a trade? I have a solid orage-ish colored Yuma that just laid a baby (only about 1/2" big now) I am intereste in the Red Chalice. Here is a picture of the mother:
