Live rock sold and gone.
Thanks so much.
-
The fella in the string above committed to the candy canes with no idea when he can pick them up. They are VERY AVAILABLE. If someone else is interested, please let me know. I'd even sell just a portion of the colony if you need something smaller.

All clams sold and have moved on. Thanks for looking.

Here's another photo that better shows the colony:

Let's move the live rock! Make me an offer and bring a bucket! Lots of long skinny pieces. A few mushrooms. Pretty clean stuff.
-
Large candy cane colony. Somebody could buy this, sit on it for two months and frag it for a killing! Probably 30 heads here.
$50

I'm breaking down the system to make room for what is hopefully my dream tank construction in the late Spring/early Summer. I have three clams that need homes. Photos are shot with a smart phone so use some imagination. All three are healthy. One is a huge Derasa clam, every bit of eight inches in length. Once is a nice Crocea, and one is one of the ORA Derasas.
Huge Derasa: $80
Crocea: $30
ORA Derasa $25
I'm at Anderson Mill and 183. Available afternoon after 3:00 today for pickup or Saturday.

I'm currently using the Red Sea Coral Pro Alk titration test and I like it. Results come in close to what my Hanna Checker delivers. Both methods make me happy and I would recommend both!

Jeremy,
Your Pearlberry looks awesome! Nice work at keeping those SPS happy!

So does that mean you are interested in preparation for powerheads or does that mean you are interested and will get back to me after you get some controllable powerheads?
-
7096 Controller with cables to control 4 tunze powerheads. $95
I am up at Anderson Mill and 183.
Message for appointment to pickup.

Hey Greg,
With how you are setup, both tanks running concurrently, frag a portion of a large colony move it over to the new tank in the master and see how it does. If it moves with no stress or hassle, then I think you've got the green light to hack away on the others and move whatever portion you want over to your new cube.

On a coralvue ballast for comparison, the xm provides ppfd of 103, the Reeflux 10K provides 129 ppfd on same ballast. Go with the Reeflux.

Hey,
I've set up a pods refugium and want to get some Ulva growing. Does anyone have enough that they could share or sell a handful of it to me in Central, North, NW Austin or Round Rock?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi, just found this. My notifications have not been working.
No, I won't be fragging anything for a good while. I have managed to crash a really nice tank so I am back in "building" mode.
I lost the pearlberry and the prostrata. Makes me very sad.
So anyway, death of a beautiful tank, but life goes on. I'll be back in the game in six months or so!
Thanks for checking in though and good luck with your tank.

Inbox is cleaned out.
I now have
2-Reeflux 20K's for $15 each (3 months use on these lamps)
2-Aquaconnect 14K's for $15 each 6 months use on these
Both produce similar "looks". Very blue, almost as crisp as the Radiums I am now running, but nice lamps nonetheless.

If you have a big clam, i'm talking like 8+ inches big or bigger, let me know. I'd like to add a big boy to my tank. I'm not looking to low ball on price, fair price for the clam and I'm in!
-
I have a variety of 400W SE's available.
2 Aquaconnects 14K 400W SE - 6 months use at 5 hours a day
1 CoralVue Reeflux 20K
1 Coralvue Reeflux 10K
I'd be happy to sell any of these for $15 each. I'm home till at least Monday recovering from surgery. I'm well enough for a visit so if you are interested, just let me know when you'd like to come out.

I have a 5lb and 10lb CO2 tank and a Milwaulkee controller. If interested, message me.

120 Gallon Oceanic Reef Ready Tank and Hood-Starphire
in Complete Systems
Posted · Edited by Mike M.
I am in the process of building my custom stand and tank. The old needs to go. This Oceanic 120 Gallon tank is 48" Wide x 24" x 24" Tall. Dual overflow boxes in each corner. One set of small scratches on the left side, otherwise, the glass is in good shape. Oh, did I mention, Starphire glass on the front? Sure enough.
The hood is fabricated from birch plywood and was epoxy coated prior to finishing with black laquer on the exterior and white enamel on the interior. THere are five fans for cooling the lights. Hood swings open as shown for ease of access.
The stand...this is a VERY USED stand. It has suffered water damage and should not be considered part of the sale. It is gift with purchase.
I am offering this as a package with add ons. So here is what I am offering....
Tank, stand, canopy, and 40 gallon sump, no pumps, controllers, lights, ballasts or light rack...$300
Add the VHO and T5 end caps and ballasts (One Icecap 430 and one Ice Cap 660)- +$100
Add the Lumen Bright Reflectors +$100
Add the Lumatek 400W Adjustable ballasts(Less than one year old and 2 x 400W Radium Lamps(Less than 3 months use)...+$100
If you come in and purchase the whole lot for the asking price of $600, I'll throw in a good working order Arctica Commercial Chiller 1/2hp as a gift with purchase. That's right...I'll give you the chiller. Buy the whole thing and the chiller comes with it for free!
Now, you need to provide transport and bring somebody to pick it up. Here are photos:
