They don't move, but they reproduce like crazy. And yes, they will sting and kill corals. I have to ask, why would you want them (except for filtering ina totally isolated refuge or raceway)? Stephen

Good to know Clint. I was disappointed in the tests I got off the NeoSalt I tried. I asked John (Kingfish) about the Tropic Marin stuff just the other day. How long have you been using it? Are you getting the results they advertise (like better polyp extension)? How much did you have to pay for it - I read somewhere its about $100 a bucket. Stephen

All, I will close this order tomorrow night or NLT than noon Wednesday. I have already arranged to have the order shipped Thursday, so that I will receive it Friday. You can pick up Friday afternoon/evening, and I will post to the thread as soon as I receive it on Friday. I use the smallest I could get (10 micron I think). I never washed them when new. I would change them when the flow thru the sock got too restricted. I washed them in the washer using the recommended amount (per the bleach bottle). I would usually put them thru the rinse cycle twice. If you get the ones without the plastic ring, they are much easier to clean and turn inside out for washing. Stephen

Is anyone else interested in joining this order? Unless I hear something by the end of the weekend, I'll probably close it early next week and arrange delivery once I get back from Durham (next Thursday). mark, Can you hold the the zoo's until the following week or next weekend? Since next Friday is out, it will be next to impossible for me to get them. I just had a thought (I know, I scare myself when I do that). Since these are copepods, does having one or more mandarins, or other fish that eat pods, keep them in check? Stephen

Call Cedar Park Animal Hospital. Explain to the lady there what you need it for. They have in the past sold me the pills 1 or two at a time. I think it was $12.00 a pill (which should be enough for one treatment of the tank). Stephen

I haven't, but I have talked with JD Klien, the owner, several times and he seems legit. He has a lot of Tyree (Reeffarmers) 2nd generation stuff, and he is very consciencous about providing documentation about the corals leniage. Stephen
