I will be puting up some plans for assembling your own auto top-off for about $40 bucks and for building a Kaulk reactor. The two go great together for keeping your water parameters and calcium at optimum levels.

In the new Coral mag on the back cover Rio shows that they have come out with a controller for the Seios. I had Michael at AA check on availability and as of right now they are not available. I hate it when a company teases you with a new product, but only to find it is a pic of the prototype.

Welcome to Austin, The Live Music Capitol Of The World.
Just putting my 2 cents in as well. Set up a pump or two in the tank near the top of the water surface to aid in evaporative cooling. that may help as well.

Hey I have heard great things about the original Reef Keeper and I am wanting to purchase the 2 model as well. I can use you as the test to see if it has any pitfalls.

Greetings and welcome to Austin!
I am sort of partial to Austin Aquariums, but I love this store as a customer.
It is located right next to Northcross Mall, one block south off of Anderson Lane.
You can call the store at 206-0646 if you get lost or have trouble. The people working
there are always so friendly and helpful and they have nice livestock.

Mega dittos to what the dude was saying about the LFS. Support them when you can and they will be around when you need them. I am going exclusivley with as much of Seachem as I can with my new tank. So far I am happy with the results. My polyp extension on my acro frags is great. Plus this is the first time I am going with all stonys. Please give me any feedback on your personal experience with Seachem. I started with Kent out in California and never really seen any great results, then started using Red Sea when I moved to Austin for my 20gal. AA is who got me turned on to Red Sea.
Thanks for any help

First of all I think that if you can invest in an actual return pump, you would be happier with the flow rate. I would recomend a quiet one or a mag. The first being inexpensive with low wattage power consumption. Also anywhere you can use y-tees instead of pvc tees would yield more flow. Any questions let me know
