I wouldn't do that to everyone... I'd get cremated and my ashes used to make FarmerTy frag plugs and donated to the club so I can live on in everyone's tanks.  That took a really morbid turn...

How about cremation and buried in my old 12 gallon nanocube?  It was the tank I ran the longest anyways... 5 years.

    This place is weird.

Also, just wait until it grows out. It'll be in your top 3 favorite pieces by the end of the year would be my guess.

I believe it!  Although you can't see it in the pic, I have that bright green edge on top where it is starting to encrust on the epoxy, leading to a beautiful rusty reddish-pink.  It's going to be a nice one.  I have it mounted in the tank in a position to be front and center because you had said it would be special when I picked it up from you.

It's at lower mid level, though, so it's probably at no more than 200 PAR tops.  So far it doesn't seem to mind.

Thanks for that.  Scary stuff.  Glad you made it through or I wouldn't have this cool Oregon Tort or Efflo now.  :P

Be careful with this frag, it grows insanely fast. I had to move it down to my "death corner" of low light and flow to keep it from breaking through the walls of my tank.

Well, this brings to mind a noob question, since I've never been to the point of having large colonies:  I have this assumption that you can prune and trim the colonies as they grow to keep them in check; kinda like you would a shrub.  Is that valid or does it not really work out that way with SPS colonies?

  5. I guess I don't know what clockwise means - I fixed the descriptions. . . doh!

I was apart of the sale too... I didn't get anything this go around. Tried to get a pearlberry but was unsuccessful. Congrats on the corals you scored.

There were still a lot of corals on the website - go to Cherry Corals website.  Here are links where they are still half off!!!  :

Lol - you got it but it's going to take a while in my tank.  I don't have the Gig 'em or Ty magic water going on.  :P

  7. I also have been playing around with pictures.  I have never cared much for photography and I don't have a nice camera, so I've been using my cell phone - a Samsung Galaxy S8.  I've been playing around with the Pro settings and also trying to post process out the blues using the Photoshop clone Paint.net.  I like what I've been able to do with the post-processing as it does look much more true to life, but still not thrilled with taking pics with the phone.
