  1. I think you just click "My Albums" then "New Album" to create an album. Then in your blog, you can reference a given album you have made. Just start clicking stuff until you get the desired result.
  2. To make up for that terrible post about the fishy pedicure I present this link: a fish with big ol lips! Rosy-Lipped Batfish via National Geographic
  3. LOL semantics. Sorry. Exploited, hacked, defaced. All relative terms, I suppose. You're right. I try to avoid complimenting an attacker by not calling such an act a "hack". When you reduce their acts to terms like "vandalism" there's a 50/50 chance it might shame them a little. Events like this, as unfortunate as they are, often inspire other admins in the community to harden their servers and applications so it's tougher for some punk to mess things up. Luckily, the attacker didn't appear to mess with the data, although I read reports of the VB app sending emails out to members. All I know is that around 4am I was trying to read an article on their site then next thing I know, the browser window is doing a circular dance onscreen and then animated some lame message. Thought I was trippin' for a second until I realized what was going on. If you ever spot anything suspicious here at ARC, contact Andrew ASAP. =)
  4. I agree. For the most part, I stopped getting pedicures. I found that if I keep my shoes on all day without socks, my feets end up silky smooth and no animals harmed. And the shoes provide hours of entertainment for my cats. I think they believe the sneakers are dead mice or something.
  5. Just when I thought I'd seen it all, I run into this on msnbc.com...carps used in pedicures. Seems kind of cruel. Frankly, I'd like to see them use Viper fish or pihranahs instead. ;-P Carps used in pedicures
  6. Script kiddies exploiting Vbulletin. This kid says he did it to inform the maast admin that his site was insecure. Which is bull. If he was so concerned about his security he should have sent an email to the maast admin and not deface the site. Technically, it's not really a hack, more like vandalism. Hopefully the punk didn't use a proxy. =)
  7. That's impressive. Personally, I remove them when I'm able, just to keep their numbers reduced. I think they tend to irritate my ricordeas when they squirrel around in and out of the rocks they are attached to. About 90% of the time I spot a bristleworm making a home in the rock near my rics, they usually detach soon after. Could be a coincidence ...

  9. Hah yeah the viper fish are a trip. You're gonna need a really big tank for that thing. ;-D Found more info on it here: Viper Fish Bonus link...mutant octopus! Freaky Ock
  10. Found this via Digg. Some really nice pics here: Odd Marine Life Photos

  12. Thats some cool macro algae...what kind is it? I think I have the beginnings of some of that in a few of my tanks.
  13. Looking forward to how this tank evolves!
  14. Interested in your goby and the Tunze skimmer. PM me for whatever you can work out for me. Thanks in advance.
  15. I'm using the same HOB refugium on a frag tank. I dig it. Cool article. Hope to see more. Thanks.
  16. Very impressive. I think it's a really gutsy thing, keeping a big tank. So expensive and a lot of responsibility with all the livestock. Personally, I couldn't do it...no confidence and no money but I'm glad others like you and wife have the resolve because it's incredibly fascinating to read about.
  17. Very cool Dave...nice and clean, as usual. =)
  18. It's just a chunk of rock dude. Nothing to be proud about whatsoever. There is no independence to celebrate. US flags are made in China, so are the fireworks and everything else imaginable. Foreign interests precede our own. We're less free today than before Bush seized the country. We're all consumer whores and our lives only have meaning as long as we're buying things (and denying freedom to other countries would love to have an independence day from american aggression.) Enjoy the koolaid!
  19. Austin Aquadome has some good cheato.
  20. Stegopontonia commensalis. Kinda small. http://www.scuba-equipment-usa.com/marine/...mmensalis).html
  21. Needing a sheet of black egg crate...really tough to find here without buying a case from a wholesaler. Anyone know where to find it? TIA
  22. This is a really great blog! Very informative and entertaining as well. Amazing how much work goes into a tank like this. I especially appreciate the part where you are refurbishing the actual tank. You even have RCA superstars Misti and James pitching in...too cool! Can't wait to see new pics. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
