I probably don't know any more about them than you do. But I've read that often LFS will train them to eat frozen before they sell them. That's probably your best bet. If you can get them to feed one in front of you before you buy it, all the better. I also hear that having a refugium is the best way to go with these fish. They like their food to be live. Hatching brine shrimp eggs, pods, that sort of stuff you taught me how to do last summer. My scooter blenny is related to these fish and have similar feeding habits. I've been tossing it pods and hatching brine eggs but last night I found it was eating a piece of frozen brine shrimp. Very encouraging. This is happening after hatching eggs once or twice a week. But I doubt I'll be able to fully ween it off live pods and brine eggs in lieu of frozen.

Can anyone recommend a good putty for binding frags and live rock together? I've used the green/white putty but it was really flimsy. Something that resembles coralline algae in color would be ideal. Thanks in advance!

15g tanks are tough to find here at the LFS but reptile stores have them. I bought one from herpeton on ben white. Just call em before you go.

You may want to try soaking the food in diluted GE.

Those things are far out! I read a story where local kids would play pranks on these crabs when found in trees. According to the lore, if you tickle one with a blade of grass while they are attached to a tree, it will think they are land-bound then fall off. I guess it's the crab version of cow-tipping. Also, you don't want to pass out drunk next to one of these creeps. They are known to snack on unconscious people. They'll eat pretty much anything. Dogs, cats, fire hydrants, etc.
